Walking down from Eich and Chilchbüel I sat on a bench close to Sempacher See, looking at Sursee in the distance over the lake. Sempach is pretty in the way that almost all the Swiss villages and towns I have seen so far, which is VERY pretty. I must say that Zofingen is my favourite so far. I'm partial because of the youth hostel there though, which besides being small, old, cosy and friendly it was also directly ON the ViaGottardo as was the camping Waldheim in Sursee. I owe many thanks to Toni, who lives there to save money for his art and composing and let me use his MAC to update my blog. Thanks Toni.
