The walk between Sursee and Lucerne was loooong. And nothing I would do again. I'd say 90% of walking was on tarmac or concrete, even through the nice parts. Plenty of farms with beautiful old houses, some passages through the forrest and the view of Sempacher See. But the motorway was in hearing distance for a long time and the tiresome tarmac really got to me. For me the nicest place was a small village called Chilchbüel.
