The walk between Olten and Zofingen was really nice. I walked mainly through quiet forrests and fields, there was hardly any tarmac or concrete, only forelorn paths and some impressive sights like Festung Aarburg. Thumbs-up for this stretch of the ViaGottardo. It was very peaceful, apparently I am the first person to walk this path, or maybe it was just the rain. It poured down until the early afternoon again. I started off in strong rain, but walking out of Olten was a lot more pleasant than I had imagined, as you can see in the photo.
