We were late, but not too late for dinner. Another sign that we are in Italy now. Dinner is later than in the Swiss huts. And what a dinner! It was crespelle with green asparagus then polenta with beans and then panna cotta. Dear Monica, who was afraid I wouldn't have enough, seeing I don't eat meat, wanted to feed me an omelette as well, but that would have just been too much. After dinner while we were discussing the path to capanna Bertacchi we were also offered a home made Genepi (remember Utu?), it's basically a kind of snaps with a plant I don't know the name of in English. Monaco's husband Matteo collected it himself.
