At the bottom the trouble started. Some of the chains were buried in the snow which made the scrambling down very difficult. Then there wasn't anything to hold on to anymore. Just heavily inclined rock and loads of snow. And we stood there and didn't know what to do. With the help of a stray chain we managed to get over the rock and then - after gathering courage - we jumped onto the snow, hoping it would hold and there weren't any holes beneath. Then we put on our crampons and walked down the steep and big snow field. Within more or less an hour we arrived at capanna Sciora and decided to stay there instead of continuing to Sasc Furä. Apart from the fact that the path between Sciora and Sasc Furä is officially closed because of a landslide (we heard the noise while going down) we were both quite exhausted from today's complications. As you can see in the photo.

  1. Beruhigend zu hören, dass Ihr es, im Gegensatz zu anderen Bergsteigern, geschafft habt.
Schicke doch mal ein Foto in Nahaufnahme von Euch beiden!

    Bis bald (!)
