After weighing our options we decided to go the rifugio Stuetta as planned (we would have arrived and slept there after climbing Spadolazzo) and hope (hope, hope, hope) that maybe tomorrow the weather will change for the better and we will be able to go on our most difficult walk taking us to St. Bernardino. If the weather is bad, well, than it is time to change plans again! And we have plan y in case plan x isn't the case. That will be a long walk to Isola and then to Pian San Giacomo and the next day directly to rifugio Pian Gran on the Calanca high route. We will see. I am becoming more and more patient and compliant. Om.

I am writing this at an Internet cafe at Madesimo where we arrived by hiking. Once again lucky, the third car stopped. It was a couple we chatted with at Bertacchi. Good things happen. People are incredibly nice and helpful. And the best news is: I will be having pizzoccheri tonight!

Hopefully I will be able to use my HTC again tomorrow night when we should be back on Swiss soil. Bad for the money, good for contact to you, dear readers.
