Four of the originally twelve remaining kilns in Solva are in the harbour. Limestone was burnt in them, they were last used in 1900. Lower Solva is a lovely place. When we got there I remembered being there with Baggy. Sleeping at a B&B there, drinking tea at the pub and catching the bus back to Poppit Sands because our holiday had ended.
