I walked on "Offa's Dyke" today, not for long. Only from the castle ruins to shortly before Chirk, where the path turns southward and I carried on to Chirk station to catch a train to Chester. It was a lot of walking on tarmac, but fun all the same, because the path changed a lot, first high up with lovely views over the valley, then through woods and fields and then along the aqueduct with all the pretty boats.
