Castell Dinas Bran was constucted in about 1260 and served as a lookout against the English (evil lot). It is assumed that it was burnt down by the Welsh in 1277 to prevent it falling into the hands of the evil lot. I parted ways with Graham there, who went back to his car to go home and I fought my way through the wind down the other side of the hill onto "Offa's Dyke Path".
