Today Madeira. Earlier this year, the Isle of Man, Bornholm. Long after my months of serious walking in the Alps. So different, in every aspect. But I want to walk. I will not give up.

And the cathedral. I left Chester at five, got on a train to Crewe and there another one to Manchester airport, where I am now, waiting for Sabine. Her plane is more than an hour late.
