We walked to Muncaster over Muncaster Hill and Muncaster Fell in cloudy weather but without rain. It was a very boggy walk though. At Muncaster we walked around the castle, which was closed for a wedding, and went to the owl sanctuary where we saw beautiful and funny-looking owls. From Muncaster we walked onward to Ravenglass to catch the "La'al Ratty", a tiny steam engine train linking Ravenglass and Eskdale, but got lost and arrived at Ravenglass just in time for the train. I wasn't feeling too well, had a soar throat, headache and all, but it wasn't that bad. After a mediocre meal at the pub, I started to feel really ill, so I fell into my bed at Stanley's House.
