The first part of the path climbing from Rifugio Mario Bezzi to Col Bassac Derè was really beautiful. Rocky and green and big glaciers in the background. We left later than usual because the trek wasn't that long. We would have left even later to sleep a bit and not arrive too early at Rifugio Benevolo, but we weren't allowed to. Latest breakfast was 8:00 and we had to leave the room at 9:00. But the rifugio is very nice, the team very friendly and the food was plenty and extremely tasty.
