Colle della Fea at 2595m. From there it was a short descent to Rifugio Daviso, a very simple and very nice place with great views. The rifugio, at 2280m, is run by a group of volunteers headed by Dario, who has worked here for almost 20 years and has a lot of experience and lots of stories to tell.
