Rifugio Città di Chivasso at 2600m. We are still here. I was quite tired so we decided to stay and rest for a day. This is a beautiful place, a beautiful rifugio. Very much a real rifugio, old, simple, but beautiful, especially inside. Alexandro, the boss, is an "old school" and quite severe rifugista, but a good person who treated us very well. Città di Chivasso is in a stunning position, unfortunately close to a road which is a true eyesore. We had a good day of rest, ate well and relaxed. Tomorrow we are off to Bivacco Giraudo. No comfort, cooked food, light and warm water there...
