Walking up towards Granero at 2377m. You can spot the beautiful bivacco in the photo. We wanted to sleep there, but it was already occupied. It was the last day the hut was open and there were many people to work and get the hut ready for the winter. We arrived early and had some delicious gnocchi with butter and sage and the last bottle of white wine. Granero is in an absolutely lovely spot surrounded by mountains. There wasn't much left to eat, but more than enough, they gave me pasta with butter and grana, eggs and dried tomatos and then there was panna cotta.
