Monviso with clouds rising. From Buco di Viso we descended to a crossing at 2550m where we said good-bye, Maurizio going back to Willy Jervis to pick up his car and go home and me embarking on the Sentiero del Postino that would take me to rifugio Giacoletti or maybe further to rifugio Quintino Sella, I wasn't sure. Alberto, the guide Ute and I hired last year, is at Sella because he is climbing Monviso (3841m) tomorrow. I'm sure he would offer to take me up and before I would have done that without hesitating. But I'm not that fit and it isn't that important for me anymore.
