That is what most of the last bit of the descent into Usseaux looked like. A stark contrast to the alpine Orsiera. I arrived at the nice little village at 16:30 after seven hours. I had climbed 1000m, went down 1500m (no major problems with my knees however) and my highest point was Colletto Orsiera at 2800m.
