This is the wonderful valley you cross walking to Scaradra hut, climbing very slowly at first, then steeply the last 150m. On our way up we met two women we chatted with and who told us that the hut was booked for eight days. We were shocked because we had been told that we didn't need to make a reservation because hardly anybody sleeps there. And we didn't at all feel like going all the way back down again and changing plans once more. So we continued on, confident that there would be a solution as is normally the case in the mountains.
