It is almost eleven and I am so full, I think I've never been as full as this evening. We started to eat at eight and finished just now. Hotel Fontana is a five star restaurant, the food is absolutely marvellous, haute cuisine, the antipasti alone, six in a row at least, were incredible, then there was risotto, pasta, minestrone, meat, vegetables, polenta etc, and a choice of panna cotta, fruit and ice cream. Then we were even served the birthday cake of a girl that turned ten today. A big group of adults and children came up here to celebrate. And all that in a lovely room with old wooden doors and furniture and beautiful wall paintings (see photo).
