The first part of the walk was very nice. Small path, nice views and all that in the sunshine. Unfortunately I didn't walk the path I had planned, it would have taken me up to a military path at about 2100m just below the grassy mountain in the picture. With great views. But only if I could have slept at Colle della Cavallina and today the hut there is closed. So I walked the normal path to San Martino, which was a six hour's walk, I climbed 1010m and went down 600m, the highest point was 1400m.
