Camoglieres in the morning. A beautfiful borgata and La Locanda del Silenzio is a another place I highly recommend. The place is beautiful and the food is very good. Francesco, who seems to be slowly taking over every-day business from his parents is a friendly young man and a dedicated cook. I first had a spinach tortina with fonduta, then a polenta tortina with mozzarella, then home-made gnocchi with butter and sage, then filled tomatoes, herb omelette and onion chutney and as afters bunet, this time without chocolate. Francesco told me that the original recipe is without chocolate.
