Rifugio Toesca at 1710m, another nice place, this time among the trees. Seeing it is Saturday there are quite a few Italian families, rather crowded for Piedmont standards. It was a very beautiful walk today, maybe the nicest so far. I walked for just over six hours, climbed 1050m and went down 1300m. My highest point was Colle Superiore di Malanotte at 2616m.
