Looking down at Carcoforo. The old part is very beautiful. We arrived early at the posto tappa, which is a restaurant and pension with two choices. The pension, it is called albergo Alpenrose (why a German name?) with rooms (which were all booked - it is August and Saturday) and a dorm, which today is also almost booked. We had a shower and washed some clothes and then relaxed with beer and white wine. Dinner was once again really, really good. Salad, ravioli, minestrone and potato and vegetable stew for the vegetarians and a huge choice of deserts. And, again, very friendly people.
