From Colle Egua it was descending only, in the heat, without shade until the trees started again and we arrived at Buffalora hut, a CAI hut (Italian alpine club) at 1687m. We stopped there for drinks and some food. Again very, very friendly people and lovely potatoes with rosemary. Certainly a nice place to stay for the night, but the others wanted to go on to Carcoforo.
