This is my accomodation for the night. It's lovely, with a huge garden and a charming brook, bluebells and lots of places to sit and rest. Svalhøj's owner Karim gave me an immensely warm welcome. He does everything to make his guests happy. The only unfortunate catch for walkers is that it is more than 2 km from Hasle, walking on a busy road there is no fun. But you can borrow a bike, which I did to unsuccessfully look for a place to eat. The few cafes and restaurants there are were all closed. So I cooked something very simple in the huge and perfectly equipped kitchen. There is an alternative, longer way to Hasle, great by bike, not so great by foot. That will add to the 19 kms to Sandvig tomorrow. There is a youth hostel ln Hasle but it was fully booked.
