The first part of the path was pretty, a small path that led through a chestnut forest. Chestnuts everywhere and they kept falling all around me while I walked. It was cloudy, but rather warm. Maurizio had dropped me off at a place called Oggero, from there I walked only a little more than two hours to Sant'Anna di Roccabruna, I climbed 400m and went down 100m. My highest point was 1520m.
