We stopped a Colle Lys at 4200m for the first time to drink in the first sunshine since we left Capanna Gnifetti at 5:30. Incredibly but true I slept well and felt good when we got up at 4:15. It was still dark and we started off with our head lamps but it was already clear that it would be a wonderful day of sunshine.
