Today Madeira. Earlier this year, the Isle of Man, Bornholm. Long after my months of serious walking in the Alps. So different, in every aspect. But I want to walk. I will not give up.

I took the bus back to Kirk Michael to pick up the path where I left it yesterday. It followed the old railway again, out of the village, then down to the beach, where I would then walk for hours on end.
